Looking at some L.L. Bean, Bean Boots or Duck Boots. I have a pair of La Crosse boots that I use while hunting. Have had these boots for years. They're not for tramping through the woods. More for very cold weather or sitting stand in extremely cold weather. These boots are very heavy, they have large liners and are really warm but I definitly won't be doing any hiking or scouting in them since my feet would sweat with much activity. Looking for an outdoor boot that's water proof that I can get out in nasty weather and not worry about my feet getting wet. Wondering if your feet would sweat in all of the duck style boots due to the rubber type material used. Need to do more in depth research I suppose.
