Amish family moved to the area. Not my specific neighborhood obviously but close to the small farm we recently moved from. The Amish are all over Indiana but this is the first in our immediate area that I know of. Have been driving by on occasion being curious and all. I am very fascinated by these people. Kinda wondering why a single family would be living away from an Amish community. Would like to approach them but as I said, we're off the farm now and would not have much in common. Guess that's not really true. Probably be able to bye eggs and produce, talk about gardening and herbs, a wealth of knowledge from the Amish.
Camping in Lincoln State Park this weekend. Should be a good time spent with friends and family. Excited to try out the new camper. Also wanting to find out what's up with these mora knives I've been reading about. Ordered and Received three awhile back and plan on testing them out during the trip. Actually I have used one in the kitchen and another during our last camping trip. Split some wood, feather sticks and basic camp stuff. Not sure which ones I purchased, black handle with carbon blade, orange handle with stainless blade and the wooden handle with carbon blade I think was the original design or something. Seem decent so far but I want to get some more use out of them, see how rugged they are.
I will be bringing along the HH hammock as well. This will be the second time using the hammock since I bought it. Not a bad sleep the first time but hope to do a better job with the setup on this trip, midnight and dog tired doesn't work so well with the first try.
Live it all-
